Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi may continue living in his country as a private citizen.
President Dmitry Medvedev’s envoy to Libya Mikhail Margelov said on Wednesday that Gaddafi should give up power and his family their right to make economic decisions.
The G8 leaders are not after the Colonel’s head, emphasized Margelov, who is meeting today with Libyan Prime Minister Baghdadi Mahmoudi, the foreign minister and other senior members of the Libyan government.
