The Egyptian Justice Ministry has ruled to try ousted President Hosni Mubarak beginning with the 3rd of August in the building of Cairo Police Academy. The charges are embezzlement, corruption and ordering to use firearms against anti-government demonstrators in January and February.
Prior to Mubarak’s stepdown, Cairo Police Academy was named after him.
