Algeria not to hand the Gaddafis over to Libya

Muammar Gaddafi’s son Saif al-Islam who has escaped from the new Libyan authorities is under the protection of the leader of a separatist group in Darfur, Sudan.
According to the Sudanese press, Saif al-Islam and his associates left Sirte on the 27th of August in six armoured vehicles.
The media report that the separatists’ protection will be rewarded with gold and money from Gaddafi’s family assets.

Algeria not to hand the Gaddafis over to Libya
Algeria won`t hand Gaddafi`s family over to Libya, the local newspaper, Le soir d`Algerie says quoting a source in the government.
The Algerian government says this is a matter of honor to the country to ensure security of Gaddafi`s wife, daughter and two sons.
The Libyan Transitional Council (LTC) wants the Gaddafi family to face trial at home.

Algeria: We will not give to the family of Gaddafi of Libya or of another State
Algeria – Algeria said a source familiar with the Algerian government has decided not to hand over members of the family of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya or any other country, and will not negotiate on their situation only with the United Nations.
