Gaddafi’s daughter wants his death probed
Laaska news Dec. 30, 2011
The daughter of the former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi Aisha has applied to the International Criminal Court requesting a probe into her father’s death, the Guardian writes.
Her interests will be represented by Nick Kaufman, a former senior prosecutor at the ICC.
He has already written to the ICC prosecutor Jose Luis Moreno Ocampo to demand an immediate investigation.
The lawyer says that Muammar and his son Mutassim “were murdered in the most horrific fashion, with their bodies thereafter displayed and grotesquely abused in complete defiance of Islamic law”.
