Over 100 affected by tornadoes and storms in southern U.S.

Two people died and more than a hundred were injured when tornadoes and storms hit southern U.S. today. The element gripped a number of cities in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and Illinois.

Tornados destroyed dozens of homes, uprooted trees. Several thousand residents are suffering a power outage die to torn power lines.

According to meteorologists, throughout the following few days the risk of tornados will persist in the region. In addition, the southern states can expect strong thunderstorms, hail and gale force winds.
