Damascus prevents militants from crossing into Syria from Turkey

According to the SANA Syrian news agency, Syrian border-guards have cut short an attempt by an armed terrorist group to cross into Syria from Turkey.
The news agency specifies that several terrorists were killed; others were injured, which caused still others to return to Turkey. One Syrian serviceman was injured in the clash.
According to the western mass media, Turkey is used as a base to form and train the so-called Free Syrian Army, made up of opposition members and those who defected from Syria.
According to the United Nations, the 10-month long conflict in Syria has claimed more than 5,000 lives.
