Gaddafi’s son predicts new uprising in Libya

On Saturday, Libya’s Transitional National Council demanded that Niger’s authorities must extradite Muammar Gaddafi’s son Saadi, who is currently in Niger.
Saadi, 38, who once played as a forward for Libya’s national football team, fled to Niger after his father was ousted in August 2011.
In an interview with the “Al Arabiya” TV channel on Friday, Saadi claimed that certain forces in Syria were preparing an uprising against the country’s incumbent regime. He said that although he had left the country, he still maintains contact with some Libyans and knows that many of them are dissatisfied with the current regime.
