The last Prime Minister in the Gaddafi regime Al Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmoudi has been placed in Libyan custody after being extradited to his home country from Tunisia.
The Tunisian authorities say they have received assurances that he will be given a fair trial.
Mr al-Mahmoudi himself is on record as saying he would be executed if he was turned over to post-Gaddafi Libya.
He held his office between March 2006 and September 2011.
