Death toll in southern Russia floods rises to 99

The death toll from floods caused by heavy rains in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region has risen to 99 from 87, police said Saturday, as rescue workers discovered the bodies of more victims.
Eighty-eight bodies including one of a 10-year-old were found in the region’s Krymsk district, a regional police spokesman told.
Others died in the Black Sea resort town of Gelendzhik and in the port of Novorossiisk.
