Heavy rain from 2 typhoons has triggered flooding and mudslides in China’s eastern coastal regions and has left at least 7 people dead.

Floods kill 88 people in N. Korea – Media + Photos

North Korean state media has reported that heavy rains stemming from a typhoon have killed at least 88 people and injured 134 more.
The Korean Central News Agency says the heavy rain that fell from the 18th to the 24th this month led to numerous floods across North Korea. Conditions were especially bad in South Pyongan Province, in the west of the country. Read more…

Beijing’s municipal government says 77 people have died in recent torrential rains. Authorities are facing criticism from residents for their slow response.

At least 171 people have been killed in a devastating flood in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region. It’s the worst of its kind in nearly a century, and the death toll continues to rise.
