A fresh radioactive water leak has been reported at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan by the plant operator, the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO).

A fresh radioactive leak was reported at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, its operator TEPCO says.

A statement issued on Saturday says that 2 liters of radioactive water leaked from the No.2 reactor`s energy unit.

According to Japanese media, last spring the government drafted contingency plans for the eventuality of an even worse disaster than the one that actually struck the Fukushima nuclear power plant, which was severely damaged by the tsunami on March 11th .
