The United States and Turkey have agreed to cooperate in dealing with worst-case scenarios in Syria, including a possible chemical weapons attack.

Dorothy Rodham, mother of US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, died Tuesday at age 92 after an illness, CNN reports from Washington. The State Department earlier said that Hillary Clinton had to cancel planned trips to Britain and Turkey to stay by her mother’s side.
