Gaddafi’s son Saif al-Islam has been arrested in southern Libya, according to NTC officials. The news was broken by the country’s justice minister and later confirmed by the Council’s spokesman Mohammed al-Allaqi, as quoted by Al Arabiya TV reports. Read more…

Members of the Nigerian army have destroyed a convoy of vehicles which illegally entered the country from Libya.
The clash occurred on Sunday near the border with Algeria. 13 people in the convoy were killed, 13 were captured and several others managed to escape. One Nigerian soldier was killed in the fire-fight. Read more…
