china and Russia start joint naval drill

Chinese and Russian naval forces began a joint military drill on Sunday in the Yellow Sea that’s scheduled to continue through Friday.

Senior officials from both navies attended an opening ceremony in Qingdao. The joint training includes a map exercise, anti-submarine operations and a rescue drill in the Yellow Sea off China’s eastern coastal province of Shandong. Read more…
