TUNIS:Tunisian plane blocked by armed Libyan insurgents leaves Tripoli

TUNIS, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — A Tunisair A320 airbus plane with 54 people onboard, blocked on the tarmac of Mitiga airport near Tripoli by armed Libyan insurgents, took off for Tunis on Saturday evening, the official press agency TAP reported on Sunday.

About a hundred armed people in a dozen cars drove out onto the tarmac at Tripoli’s Mitiga airport and blocked a Tunisair Airbus 300-20 jet with passengers from moving, Reuters reports.
