Somalia:Pirates free vessel for $ 12 mln

Somali pirates have freed a Kuwaiti vessel for a ransom of $ 12 mln, the Reuters reports. The UAE-flagged tanker was seized on March 28. Nothing has been reported about the crew of 29.

Now pirates are holding more than 20 vessels and 500 sailors, making the global economy lose 12 bn dollars annually.
