The life of a million children in Somalia is in danger because of a severe drought, the worst in decades, a spokesman for the UN Children’s Fund has told reporters in Geneva.

Meanwhile, according to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the drought that struck the Horn of Africa has pushed more than 135,000 people to cross into Ethiopia from Kenya since January.
