Libya:ICC wants Interpol to blacklist Gaddafi

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has asked Interpol to blacklist ousted Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi as a person wanted for committing crimes against humanity, the ICC’s chief prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo said on Thursday.

In June, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Colonel Gaddafi, his son Seif al-Islam and Libya’s intelligence chief Adbullah al-Senussi .

Meanwhile, the rebel-led Transitional National Council has announced hefty cash reward for capturing or killing Gaddafi, whose whereabouts are still unknown.



ICC prosecutor seeks Interpol help to arrest Gaddafi

THE HAGUE, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) — Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) said on Thursday he has asked Interpol to help arrest embattled Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, his son Saif al-Islam and intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi.
