The Human Rights Watch organization has urged Libya’s National Transitional Council to investigate the mass killing of Muammar Gaddafi supporters in Sirte. Human Rights Watch says in a report, made public today that 53 bodies were found in an abandoned hotel in Sirte.

Bullet holes in the bodies and empty sub-machinegun magazine cases in the hotel prove that the people were executed by shooting. Many of the victims had their hands tied.

Human Rights Watch said in an earlier report that 10 bodies were found in a water reservoir, in another part of Sirte.
