A devastating flood has shut nearly 10,000 plants and factories in Thailand. As a result, about 660,000 people are currently out of work.

This data was announced by Mr. Supap Klikachai, Thailand’s Deputy Minister of Industry. Heavy rains have been flooding Thailand since July. Two thirds of the country’s provinces are under water.

Experts say that this is the largest flood in Thailand in the last 10 years. According to official data, at least 366 people have already been killed.

Thailand’s weather services say that the flood may last for another 4 to 6 weeks.
