Greece:Greek talks unsuccessful

Greek negotiations on the establishment of a new coalition government ended inconclusively, the name of a new prime minister was not named either, this is according to the press service of the President Karolos Papoulias.

Earlier media reported that a compromise solution had been reached.

At a meeting at the presidential palace attended by the head of state, the outgoing Prime Minister George Papandreou and Antonis Samaras, Leader of the Opposition, no result was reached.

It is expected that negotiations will continue on Thursday.
