Iran has ordered the management of the country’s Imam Khomeini international airport to stop refuelling some Arab and European flights, the head of the airport Morteza Dehqan reported Saturday. He said that this was the government’s directive.

The measure is a response to the jet fuel boycott earlier imposed by the West. Back in October, some European oil companies refused to refuel Iranian planes.

Iran believes that this measure is in breach of international law on the part of the West.
