Egypt’s Prosecutor’s Office has demanded a death sentence for the ousted President Hosni Mubarak, Interior Minister Habib al-Adly and a number of his deputies.

The chief prosecutor in Hosni Mubarak’s trial, Mustafa Suleiman, wants them to be hanged for allowing to kill peaceful protesters during last January uprising.

Among the evidence was video footage of violent crackdown on protesters sanctioned by Mubarak, who was toppled last February.
