No Russian warships off Syria

There are no Russian warships off the coast of Syria says the Ministry of Defense. According to representatives of the defense establishment reports which have appeared in the media, in particular, the Arabic channel ‘Al-Jazeera, have caused great bewilderment.
The Defense Ministry said that the tanker “Iman” was in the Syrian port of Tartous for ten days. It is used replenish supplies of ships in the Black Sea and Northern Fleets of Russia which are participating in anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden.

The crew of the “Iman” is made up of civilian personnel and their security detail.
