Iraq: 52 dead, over 250 injured in series of blasts

According to updated information, 52 people died in a series of attacks in Iraq on Tuesday, with over 250 injured.
The greatest number of victims was recorded in Karbala, where a double blast resulted in 13 deaths, leaving 48 injured.

The attacks occurred one week before the Arab League summit in Baghdad, which will be the first event of this level in the country over the past twenty years.

A series of over 30 bombings in different cities and villages of Iraq on March 20 was the largest since February 23rd, that claimed at least 60 lives.
