Anders Behring Breivik, who killed 77 people in Norway last July, did not make his habitual far-right salute Thursday after survivors and victims’ families objected to it as the fourth trial day began.

The 33-year-old extremist has started each trial day this week making what he has described as a far-right “clenched-fist salute” once his handcuffs were removed, touching his chest and extending his clenched right fist in front of him.
