Sudan’s army frees Heglig oil hub

Sudanese troops have freed the main oil hub Heglig of South Sudanese forces which broke into the region on April 12, Defense Minister Abdelrahim Mohammed Hussein reports.

Recently, the region saw fierce clashes until South Sudan’s president Salva Kiir ordered the troops to retreat from the disputed region.
