Norway:40,000 Norwegians sing in memory of Breivik victims

Thursday, April 26, 2012

Tens of thousands of Norwegians gathered in central Oslo on Thursday to protest against mass murderer Anders Breivik by singing a song which he hates and which he considers a Marxist indoctrination method.

About 40,000 protesters massed at the Youngstorget Square to sing Children Of The Rainbow, a Norwegian rendition of US folk singer Pete Seeger’s  My Rainbow Race.

The square is located near the Oslo district courthouse where Breivik is currently on trial for his last year’s deadly bombing-and-shooting spree.

After the song, the protesters walked to the courthouse to lay flowers in memory of Breivik’s victims.
