Syria accuses Turkey of meddling
Syria has accused Turkey of meddling in its internal affairs and trying to derail Kofi Annan’s settlement plan.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry issued a statement to this effect Sunday after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Defence Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said their country would ask NATO for help in protecting its border with Syria.
In response, Syria advised Turkey to stop harbouring Syrian rebels.
