President Chavez says U.S. President Obama good friend of Venezuela
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he believes that U.S. President Barack Obama is a good person and Venezuela poses no threat to the United States.
“Putting aside the fact that Obama is the president of the United States I would personally say that he [Obama] is a very good man,” he said.
“Venezuela poses no threat at all to the government of the United States,” Chavez said in an interview with a national TV channel.
Chavez underwent a surgery in Cuba in late February after doctors detected a new formation in roughly the same spot in the pelvic region where he had a malignant tumor that was removed in the summer of 2011.
