The International Criminal Court is meeting today to rule on the venue of the trial of Seif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
Tripoli insists that Mr. Gaddafi be tried in his own country, while the ICC wants the trial to be in The Hague.
Gaddafi Jr., who is currently in Libya, is charged with committing war crimes against the rebels who ousted and killed his father last year.
Many ICC officials want Seif al-Islam to be extradited to The Hague for fear he might be killed if allowed to remain in Libya.
