Washington will keep on imposing tougher sanctions on Tehran, Pentagon chief Leon Panetta said.

EU: No intention to resume talks with Iran

The European Union has suggested that it has no intention to resume nuclear talks with Iran.

The EU plans to push up to January 23 a meeting by its foreign ministers to discuss a proposed ban on the import of Iranian oil, which was originally slated for the 30th of this month, Reuters reports, citing diplomatic sources in Brussels.
