The U.S. George Bush aircraft carrier has approached Syrian waters, the Arab Al Jazeera TV channel reports.

The Pentagon has refused to confirm the report but admitted that the ship is in the Mediterranean in what analysts see as part of preparations for a possible no-fly zone over Syria. Read more…
