Mozambique:15 Ethiopian athletes gone missing in Mozambique

Mozambican police and migration authorities are looking for 15 athletes from Ethiopia, who have been taking part in the 10th All Africa Games and missing since Monday.

A representative of the Games’ Organizing Committee confirmed at a news briefing that the 15 Ethiopians – track and field athletes, boxers and taekwondo wrestlers  – had failed to return to their delegation headquarters at village outside the capital Maputo.

The All Africa Games, which have brought together more than 5,000 athletes from across the continent, will close on  Sunday.
