TUNISIA:Former Libyan PM arrested in Tunisia

Former Libyan Prime Minister al-Baghdadi al-Mahmoud has been arrested in Tunisia, Libyan media quoted Tunisian authorities as saying on Thursday.

He was arrested as he tried to illegally cross the border with Algeria on Wednesday, the authorities said, adding that he gave himself up without resistance.

Mahmoudi served as Prime Minister between March 5, 2006 and September 1, 2011.
