Libya’s interim Prime Minister  Abdel Rahim al-Kib says that Muammar Gaddafi’s captured son Seif al-Islam will be tried in line with international standards.

The PM made a pledge to this effect during a news conference in the city of Zintan where Gaddafi’s son was brought after his arrest.

Saying that the country had not seen fair trials for the past forty years, al-Kib voiced confidence that the local authorities would  take care of the high-profile defendant before the start of the trial.
